Getting linux on Beagleboard rev c4

For a couple of weeks now, i have been trying to get a stable linux release installed on my beagleboard c4.

It has been a very aggravating experience to say the very least.

I finally came across this site, Sakoman.com.  Sakoman has made available daily Gnome builds that just work right out of the box.  So far, the only complaint I have is trying to install all of the dependencies that the Arduino IDE and Processing.org IDE both need to run.

I have gotten Processing to work.. but it also took about two hours worth of searching for .ipk packages to get java running right.

Will post a short “how to” on how i got processing running soon.
