Getting Closer to Home

We have now passed the halfway point in of our Voyage and this is Day 4 (although we boarded 5 days ago they only count full days).

Last night was a semi formal evening so no Bow Ties to struggle with! After Dinner we had a look around the Casino, and then walked down to the Veuve Clicquot Champagne Bar for a glass of Vintage Rose served with Fresh Strawberries (very nice!), we then decided to visit the Commodore Club to listen to the Pianist and have a Gin Cocktail each (once again…very nice!) and an excellent Pianist.

Once again we put our clocks forward 1 hour before we went to bed and we are now only two hours behind UK time.

Whale and Dolphin update: Jane thought she saw a Whale through the Balcony windows but soon realised it was me lying on a sun lounger looking more like a beached whale!! You can imagine that there is so much Food and Drink that you just cannot say no to it (I suppose you can but we don’t have the willpower), although we did make ourselves feel better by walking past the Gym yesterday during our deck walk and Tony will most definitely have his work cut out when we return.

Today we have lunch in Todd English (more food!), then we are off to the Planetarium to see a different performance than last time before coming back to our room, changing into our Formal Wear and going to a Champagne Art Preview before Dinner (more food!!), after Dinner we plan to go to the Theatre to see Rondell Sheridan (an American Comedian) before finishing up in the Commodore Club for a night cap.

I’m sure we will be doing much more in between and pretty soon we are off to walk the deck to burn off Breakfast.

I will upload more photos later:
